How do I read the digital version of Game Informer?

Game Informer magazine is available to read with our app on the App Store, Google Play, and on your PC or Mac browser.

International readers can purchase individual issues or a 1-year subscription in our app.

How do I purchase the digital edition?

Does the Game Informer app support offline reading?

The Game Informer app has partial support for offline reading. Downloaded issues are accessible offline however some content and features that require online access will not be available.

iOS

I have a subscription but the app is asking me to purchase issues

  1. In a browser, log in to your gameinformer.com account and visit your Subscription Management page to verify your subscription is connected. If it is not connected, you will be prompted to activate your account.
  2. Open the app on your mobile device. Navigate to the My Account menu item and log in with your gameinformer.com username and password.

How do I access the on-screen menu?

Press and hold your finger on the screen. Additional application navigation options will appear.

I have an iPhone XR/iPhone XS Max and don't see any issues in the library

Please disable "zoom" mode on your display.

Why aren't new issues appearing in the library?

  1. Check that you've updated the Game Informer app to the latest version
  2. Launch the app, navigate to the Issue Library, and tap on "Missing issues?" under the gear icon. You may be asked for your login credentials
  3. If you do not see new issues in the library, force quit the Game Informer app (view instructions)
  4. Turn off your device, power it up, and relaunch the Game Informer app. Perform step 2 again

The app crashes when I try to download or read an issue

  1. Power down your device and reboot
  2. If this does not resolve the issue, re-download the issue
  3. If the issue still persists, delete and reinstall the app

I am stuck on "Loading…"

Usually this happens when Wi-Fi reception is poor. If your internet connection is strong and you are still are stuck on "Loading…" try the following:

  1. Force quit the Game Informer app (view instructions)
  2. Turn off your device and power it back up
  3. Relaunch the Game Informer app and re-download the issue
  4. If this does not resolve the issue, please delete and reinstall the Game Informer app

How do I delete a downloaded issue?

  1. Launch the app and navigate to the Issue Library
  2. Tap on "Remove issues?" under the gear icon. You may be asked for your login credentials
  3. Select the downloaded issue(s) you would like to delete

Android

When I try to download an issue, it doesn't finish downloading

If you're having trouble downloading an issue, try the following:

  1. Check your internet connection. If your connection is weak and the signal is lost during download, you will have to download the issue again
  2. Disable VPN if using
  3. Clear the application's data and cache in the Android Settings menu and re-launch the app

  2. Tap and select the issue(s) you want to remove, then tap on the trash icon in the upper right corner
  3. Press "OK" to confirm

The magazine doesn't load

Log out of gameinformer.com, clear your browser's cookies and cache, and log back in.
